STUDI LITERATUR PROSES PEMBUATAN MINYAK DEDAK PADI (RICE BRAN OIL) MENGGUNAKAN METODE EKSTRAKSI PADAT-CAIR

چکیده

Melimpahnya jumlah limbah padat penyosohan padi yaitu dedak di Indonesia berpotensi untuk dijadikan minyak pangan. Minyak pangan berbasis dapat djadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti kelapa saawit, karena mengandung senyawa fitokimia dalam tinggi, antioksidan dan beberapa jenis lemak. Umumnya pembuatan dilakukan dengan metode konvensional soxhlet extraction. Dalam pengolahannya meliputi 4 proses utama yakni stabilisasi, ekstraksi, distilasi analisa produk. review ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh waktu stabilisasi rasio pelarut terhadap rendemen yang dihasilkan, kadar asam lemak bebas densitasnya. Hasil tertinggi pada penelitian Nasir dkk sebesar 18,34%. Kadar menggunakan n-heksana ethanol masih memenuhi standar 34,49-49,76%. Densitas terbaik Suryati 0,901 g/ml berarti hampir mencapai SI 01-3555-1998 0,916 g/ml.
